Chicken Tortilla Soup - slow cooker or stovetop

4.5 cups chicken broth
14.5 oz petite diced tomatoes (I use rotel)
1 1/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion
3  or more cloves minced garlic
1 TBL  chili powder
2 tsp ground  cumin
3/4 tsp paprica
1/2 tsp ground coriander
salt and pepper to taste
1/5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
14.5 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
1.5 cup frozen or canned corn
1 TBL lime juice
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Serve with:
tortilla chips
shredded cheese
diced avocado

cook first 10 ingredients in slow cooker on low for 6 hours or on stovetop until chicken is cooked thoroughly.  Remove  chicken and shred and return to cooker with black beans, corn, cilantro and lime juice.  Stir.  Allow to cook until heated through.

I like this recipe because I like the flavors on the seasonings.
