Chocolate Chip Cookies - new fave recipe

WARNING:  you will need to chill the dough at least ONE HOUR before baking. What I like about these cookies is that they seems to be consistently the right consistency after being baked! 

1 cup soft, unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar

BEAT TOGETHER and then ADD

2 eggs
3 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

THEN MIX IN

3 cups flour, one at a time

Stir in 2 cups chocolate chips

REFRIGERATE DOUGH at least an hour

Place in globs, not balls on cookie sheet. Smash slightly
Bake around 8-9 minutes at 375
