Marinade for Chicken - marinade for a minimum of 15 min
1 1/4 pound skinless chicken breast sliced in thin pieces
1 egg white
1 TBLS cornstarch
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 TBLS soy sauce
1 TBLS sesame oil
STIR FRY -
5 cups broccoli cut into small pieces
3 TBLS or less chopped ginger (or 1/2 tsp ground ginger)
3 scallions sliced
SAUCE -
3/4 cup chicken stock
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 TBLS cornstarch
2 TBSP Oyster sauce (or fish sauce)
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper
Coat broccoli in 2 tbsp sesame oil and add to sheet pan. Arrange
chicken around broccoli, spread out. Sprinkle with ginger and bake for 15 minutes
Whisk together the chicken stock, garlic, cornstarch, soy sauce, oyster sauce,
sesame oil, white vinegar, sugar and pepper. Cook for a few minutes until
thickened. 3-5 minutes
Spoon the sauce onto the chicken and broccoli and toss with the scallions and sesame seeds and
return to the oven for 5 more minutes
